A young boy will be spending his school holidays in hospital after colliding with a bus while riding his electric scooter.
WA Police said the 12-year-old was riding the e-scooter in the northern suburb of Wangara about 11am Friday when his scooter and a Toyota commuter bus collided at the busy intersection of Wanneroo and Ocean Reef Roads.
The boy was taken to Perth Children’s Hospital with serious injuries, while the 43-year-old man driving the bus was unharmed.
Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash. They can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or making an anonymous report online.

The incident follows a similar crash in Greenwood, another northern suburb of Perth, on March 24.
