Gang crime detectives are hunting four assailants who bashed a bikie within an inch of his life inside his Bayswater Hotel room, with the violence possibly sparked by his recent “patching over” to a rival gang.
The 37-year-old man had arrived at the hotel on Railway Parade about 5.45pm on April 15 when he was followed into the compound by a group of men armed with baseball bats and an axe, who drove up in a silver Mazda SUV.
