A professional surfer is recovering from surgery after he was bitten by a shark during an early morning surf at a remote beach in Greenough.
Max Marsden was bitten on the right arm by the sea creature at Lucys Beach in Greenough, about 15km south of Geraldton, about 7.15am on Sunday.
