Two men have been charged with the murder of a father-of-two after his body was found in a bunker in South Australia

Murder charges were laid against the 19-year-old and 46-year-old today, with the latter also facing an offence for concealing human remains.

Steve Murphy’s body was found in a pit under a shed in Kudla, north of Adelaide, on Tuesday after significant excavation following a tip-off.

The 38-year-old had been missing for about six weeks and had last been seen camping in a swag in the area. 

Police allegedly found cannabis plants, a rifle and ammunition at the Kudla property.

The 46-year-old had already been charged with drugs and firearms offences.

Both men have been refused bail and remanded in custody to appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
