Former Howard government minister Peter McGauran says Peter Dutton’s position on the Voice to Parliament is “principled, logical and it’s courageous” but politically it is “disastrous”.
“I very much fear the Liberal’s will’ve dealt themselves out of a whole number of debates in the years to come,” Mr McGauran told Sky News Australia.
“The Liberal’s should’ve found another way to do this.”
