The brave teenager who endured four hours of torture allegedly inflicted by her friends has spoken out about the appalling ordeal.
The 14-year-old Queensland girl says she was lured to a sleepover but when her friends met her at the door they asked if she was alone — before allegedly binding her and unleashing hours of torture.
The brave youngster, who can’t be identified, spoke exclusively to 7NEWS with her mother, saying she was burned, punched and humiliated.
She was in such a bad state when she arrived home that her mother didn’t immediately recognise her.
“I have visions of my daughter on the floor,” her mum said.
“Just seeing her face for the first time and the way she called out my name when she (saw) me.”
The girl said she wasn’t thinking about the injuries at the time, but she just “wanted to go home and see my little brother and my mum”.
“It’s traumatic really, it’ll take me a long time to recover from this,” she said.
The eldest of the trio boasted about the alleged attack on social media afterward.
The girls, aged 12, 13 and 14, have faced court — but the victim’s family are too scared to return home and are staying in temporary accommodation.
