Three people have died and three others have been injured in a horror crash near the Victoria-New South Wales border.
The crash, involving a truck and two vehicles, happened at the intersection of the Murray Valley Highway and Labuan Road at Strathmerton at about 2.30pm on Thursday.
Police confirmed three people, who are yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
“The driver of the truck was uninjured and stopped at the scene,” police said in a statement.
“The exact cause of the collision is yet to be determined at this stage.”
Three others were rushed to Goulburn Valley Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
Strathmerton is a small town in Victoria, about 250km north of Melbourne.
Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the collision.
