Police are investigating the suspicious death of a 65-year-old woman in Atherton on Sunday morning.
Police and emergency services were called to an address on Gordon Street about 8:30am and found a woman with a wound to her abdomen.
She was declared dead at the scene.
A crime scene has been established while detectives work to determine the circumstances leading up to the woman’s death.
Police said no one had been arrested.
